Аннотация

Статья посвящена развитию торакальной хирургии в России за последние 20 лет. Изложены основные тенденции диагностики хирургической патологии грудной клетки. Определены направления развития «открытой» торакальной хирургии за этот период, указаны не до конца решенные проблемы. Даны характеристика и перспективы видеоторакоскопической хирургии. В статье намечен путь развития новых научных и клинических направлений торакальной хирургии России: реконструктивной хирургии, трансплантологии, биоинженерных технологий. Оценены изменения в непрерывном образовании торакальных хирургов.
